1. Overview
HabitaBit (“the App”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes, how it is used, and your choices. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Data We Process
- Habit Data: The App stores habit names, descriptions, completion records, streaks, and any other tracking information you enter.
- App Settings: Your preferences such as theme, notification settings, and display options are stored locally on your device.
- Purchase Status: Whether you have purchased Pro Access is stored locally on your device. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
The App does not collect your name, email address, or other direct identifiers. You do not need to create an account to use the App.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
- On Your Device: All habit data and app settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage mechanisms. We do not operate any servers that receive or store your personal data.
4. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are processed entirely on your device and are not transmitted to any external server. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.
5. In-App Purchases
The App offers optional Pro Access via in-app purchases (monthly subscription, yearly subscription, or lifetime purchase) processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. For details on how Apple handles purchase data, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
6. No Third-Party Analytics or Advertising SDKs
The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or embedded trackers. The App does not use third-party crash reporting SDKs.
7. Data Sharing
We do not share your personal data with any third parties. The only data transfers that occur are those initiated by you (e.g., using the Export feature) or by Apple as part of the in-app purchase process.
8. Export and Import
The App provides an optional feature to export your habit data as a file and import it back. This data is processed entirely on your device. When you share an export file, your device's standard sharing mechanisms apply and you are in full control of where that file is sent.
9. Your Choices and Controls
- Manage Habit Data: You can create, edit, and delete habits and completion records at any time within the App.
- Notifications: You can enable or disable reminders in the App or in your device's Settings → Notifications.
- Delete All Data: Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored data.
10. Data Retention
Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the App, delete the App, or reset your device. We do not retain any copies of your data on external servers.
11. Security
We rely on Apple's platform security for local data storage. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age required by your local law, please use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the App or on our website, with the “Last Updated” date adjusted accordingly.
